James Morris Kibler

James Morris Kibler, formerly of Denton, Texas, went to be with our Lord on April 23rd, 2012. He was the youngest of 8 children born to William and Maggie Kibler on October 17, 1921 in Pilot Point, Texas.

Morris was a hard working and highly educated man. He also served in World War II as a master sergeant in the Army. His education consisted of a BS in Education and a Masters in Business from the North Texas Teachers College. Morris ran a very successful business for over 30 years, Kibler Office Supply. In addition to running his own business and selling office supplies, he was very civic minded. He was a deacon at the First Baptist Church of Denton, Denton City Councilman, member of the Denton Lions Club, and voted Businessman of the Year. But his greatest accomplishment was on July 24, 1942 when he married the love of his life, Lillian Wells Kibler.

He was a devoted and loving husband to his wife and his 3 children; Jim, Karen, and Bill. Morris was preceded in death by his wife Lillian; his daughter Karen, and his son Bill. He is survived by his son Jim Kibler and wife, Pam; daughter-in-law Martha Kibler; 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

The funerals services will be held at a graveside service Saturday April 28, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, Texas. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the American Cancer Society.
