Martha Frazier Collins left this world to be with her Heavenly Father suddenly Friday, February 22, 2013. Martha, 77 years young, was a loving wife, mother, and friend. Honest and full of integrity, Martha always viewed life with great optimism. All the days of her life, she showered her love to her husband, children, family, and friends. She was the consummate giver of her love, time, wisdom, and energy. We are comforted by our memories and honored in having been part of her world.

Martha is survived by her loving husband, Tom Collins, and her four children: Mary Frazier Rumbo and her husband, Paul; Dawn Frazier Kregel and her husband, Lane; Jeff Frazier and his wife, Libby; and Nancy Frazier Colburn and her husband, Richard; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Other family survivors include Martha’s two sisters, Mary Gallia and Nancy Underhill, nieces, nephews, and many special friends. In keeping with her passion for food and entertaining, one might include in her recipe for a happy life these ingredients: strong character, forgiveness, and love of God and country.

A private memorial Mass was held Sunday, February 24, 2013 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Grapevine, Texas. A celebration of Martha’s life will be held at their home in Colleyville, Texas on April 6, 2013. Please contact her eldest daughters at dfkregel@verizon.net and mrumbo058@gmail.com for more details. Memorials may be made to Navy Gift Fund for the Wounded Warriors Project; more information can be found at www.woundedwarriorregiment.org.
